11. I think it has to go state-by-state, and local pressure is best

Obviously, a Democratic Governor like JB Pritzker or Gavin Newsom is going to be more involved than a Repuke like Ron DeSantis. But the biggest point is to get a lot of angry phone calls into the governmental offices. Calling your state and local representatives, writing letters to the editors of your local newspapers. It all counts to get people mad and ready to do something about it.

Incumbent Repukes have to run for re-election too - other than DeSantis - so they are going to care that people are angry and blaming them. Rallies like the "No Kings" rally last month REALLY make a difference. Those events got news coverage and social media was all over it too. So getting involved locally and meeting up with like-minded people will lead to changes.

But nothing happens overnight. That's the problem.
