... the prevailing attitude of the leadership under the influence of consultants with questionable loyalties. Here's hoping they recommend that the aforementioned consultants start updating their resumés. The consultants have, in my opinion, betrayed the founding principles of the Democratic Party. The Progressives and "Democratic Socialists"* can steer a true and steady course back to those principles, if the leadership will let them.

* When boorish liars like Ted Cruz call Mamdani "Comrade", correct them by saying, socialism is simply putting the best interests of society as a whole ahead of the best interests of billionaires and corporations.
