16. The simple answer is: Do you want to be a permanent minority?

Friday

We have a choice here: fight back or surrender. If we allow GOP gerrymandering and don’t fight back, we will become a permanent minority. Once they seize power with no possibility of losing it, we’re done. We’re in a fight for our Republic. The time is now. If we fail to stop the onslaught here, we have lost it ALL. There are no points for noble defeats.

With all due respect to your friend, they must enjoy immense privilege if they understand why we stand here and now.
