1. If the Senate passed the same version of the CR the House passed back in September

it wouldn't have to go back to the House. Trump would sign it and it would end the shutdown. If Johnson kept the House closed after that, it would be disastrous for Republicans. Not to mention, absolutely no additional business could get done.
