There once were some schemers, no soul,
Who grinned as they dug at the whole.
“Cut SNAP,” they would cheer,
“With chaos sincere,”
Then watched while the safety nets stole.

A cabal with smiles of disguise,
Made promises laced with plain lies.
In talks they’d agree,
But take, then they’d flee —
Bad-faith been their proudest surprise.

They’ve marked every program for doom,
And whisper “reform” in a room.
Project 2025’s map
Is a paper-cut trap —
So hope becomes harder to bloom.

Step one: delete a few halls,
Step two: tear the programs and walls.
Tariffs stack up the till,
Crypto’s mixed in the till,
While safety net curtains take falls.

They’ll mix public gold with a coin,
Say “it’s modern!” as budgets purloin.
Comingle and hide,
Let the market decide —
While mothers and workers rejoin (in scorn).

Give breaks to the rich with a grin,
Let the oligarch chorus begin.
They’ll pocket a crown,
Push the commoners down,
And toast as the gutters fill in.

Becoming trillionaires’ dream,
A laugh on a ledgerless scheme.
They dance to the bank,
We patch up the tank —
And fury brews under the steam.

So eye them with caution, not trust;
Bad faith runs through plans like a rust.
If we want to survive,
We must speak and we’ll strive —
Protect the small things that matter—adjust.
