11. A few days ago I did an analysis of the two baskets

I discovered that if you got the 2025 basket and added enough extra food to present the same meal in both years you'd have to spend $18.36 for the add-ons; since the 2025 meal is only $15 less expensive than the 2024 one, this year's basket is more expensive.

But wait - there's more! There are some items in the 2025 basket where they give you the same product but different amounts of it. For example, this year there are three cans of green beans and in 2024 there were two. I subtracted the excess items in the 2025 basket to bring it down to 2024 levels; if you take the 2025 basket in its entirety you need to add $1.50 that I subtracted; this makes the current basket require $19.86 in additional spending.
