Can I ask you a question? Do you have any idea what real poverty is? Have you ever gone hungry? Have you ever worked at a food bank? I can answer these questions with a yes. Short term remedies rarely ever product long term goals. Do you follow the court ruling on this, do you understand the law? Trump is illegally withholding funds from SNAP, and this would have been settled soon. Food banks would have held people over until then. Now because these idiots folded, SNAP will be destroyed for the future, you may get your SNAP benefits for a couple of months but don't expect them to continue in the present form for much longer and heaven help those right-wing dumb dumbs who live in Red States, because their states don't put forth much more for their SNAP programs as Blue States do. SNAP benefits even in Blue States run out in 3 weeks, the fourth week of the month the food banks always see a big pick up in people coming in for food. (I have actively worked decades and contributed to my church's food bank which is federally approved so I do have an understanding what is occurring this country.) People need to see the big picture, what has been destroyed is Democrats' faith in their party. The fascist take over will be much easier now and many more people will be going without food. 2025 will come soon. People have a right to be angry because what is coming is now so much worse.
