Showing Original Post only (View all)I am not in despair over the "Sunday Night Sell Out" [View all]
Tuesday's Blue Wave still happened.
And I believe it put enough power into the right hands to make the needed changes to the power structure of the Democratic Party.
So in a way, the "Sunday Night Sell Out" was a blessing in disguise - with glasses... lowered on the nose.
It put a bright spotlight on who and what needs changed. Now there can be no doubt.
It's a temporary setback that cannot and must not stop the resistance.
It is the last gasp and swan song of a way of doing things whose time has come.

Yes, this dustup really tagged Republicans as heartless creatures. What a shame. /nt

Tuesday's election was one step forward. The Sunday night sell out is two steps back.

Um, wrong. SNAP payments will happen now - as soon as the government funding passes.

Right. I still disagree with the decision of these 8 (actually 5 since 3 voted with Republicans all along)

I am in despair because the ACA has been ruined and will not function for the poor anymore.
