If there is and it does, then we won this. If there isn't and it fails, then we lost.
These are people's lives. This isn't a political football, this is life or death to many Americans. That some Dem senators just don't care about those lives gives a lot of credence to the idea the parties are the same and just don't care about regular people. I know most Dem Senators held the line, but it just feels like the party gave up, feels corrupt, and feels like doom.
