Tariffs will never generate that kind of money. No rebates, tax cuts, cash, tax credits. Nothing.
As Trump says "per person" this "plan" blows a $500 billion hole in the budget.
The money simply will never be there, so this is just another empty promise.
Besides, even if it's "per household", it still eliminates the promise that tariffs would pay down national debt.
