Don't fight for anything unless the outright lying, badfaulith merchants on the other side give you a hint that you may win.

I forgot that the colonists knew from the start that King George was open to American Independence.

I also forgot that the Confederacy didn't really mean it when they left the union. They were also looking forward to freeing all of their slaves.

Damn, I must have been asleep in history class on the day we learned that the Axis powers really wanted peace.
