Nelson Peltz (born June 24, 1942)[1] is an American billionaire businessman and investor. He is a founding partner, together with Peter W. May and Edward P. Garden, of Trian Partners, an alternative investment management fund based in New York.[2] He is non-executive chairman of Wendy's Company,[3] Sysco, and The Madison Square Garden Company. He is a former director of Heinz, Mondelēz International,[4] and Ingersoll Rand[5] and a former CEO of Triangle Industries.[6]
