Pretty sure that's not how this works. These companies don't have their pasta on the shelves on consignment, they are purchased by importers and distributors, and then retailers set the prices. That's who pays the tariffs. Americans, basically.

So with a 107% tariff on the Italian pasta, the pasta companies would have to LOWER their prices dramatically in order to compete with other brands because the 107% will be added to the cost to the importer. The importers would stop buying the pasta from the Italian company because it costs so much more now.
