Jon Stewart on the shutdown "deal" [View all]

Some good points. Many already discussed, but still worth noting, without trying to beat a dead horse.

I know that some still argue that it was a good deal. We got nothing but a promise though, from a group who doesn't act in good faith, and add to that neither donnie or the dipshit Speaker agreed to the deal. If it was a great deal, then more than the just enough needed and uniquely not on the ballot next year few would have voted for it. We need to move forward, but let's not bullshit ourselves.

Anyway, Stewart makes some of these points, among others as well...
