the noise around the right wing has been for a long time that they will flip Fetterman. They look at him now as a weak version of Manchin but still useful to them. Sort of like Sinema but with a more shabby wardrobe.

On the House side we need to be careful if the mid terms give us a close win by only a seat or two because in addition to massive legal challenges to election results we can expect massive financial incentives being given in order to entice enough members to switch to keep the GQP in control. We are in an era where the MAGA justices have blessed open bribery since they seem to be familiar with and in favor of the subject already. There appears to be a policy that any and all levels of corruption and crime will be ignored, convictions pardoned etc. as long as the offender salutes Crumb The 1st and ponies up some tribute.

Having a sexual abuse component seems to help an offender get that pardon, like in the case of the Tennessee official, or the ability to shamelessly tell monstrous, easily proven false lies and just roll to the next one when confronted like George Santos.

The bottom line is that taking control in the House and/or Senate by small margins is not going to be enough. Remember how the GQP hamstrung and blocked things the last time? Also relying on the courts is, as we have seen, a long uncertain process and compliance with court orders is not forthcoming.

Notice how despite the judges orders about ICE-American Gestapo in Chicago nothing has really changed? In fact they now appear ready to stage a slow withdrawal rather than comply and use the withdrawal as a claim to moot the judge's order. Sort of like the bank robber putting the cash back into the bank through the back door a little at a time and thereby claiming exemption from arrest/prosecution/conviction/imprisonment.

Notice how despite court orders federal funds to SNAP are still yet to flow. Notice how despite several court decisions about illegal firings of employees etc. the firings still go on. Notice how despite the attacks on boats being obviously blatantly illegal they still continue.

So we have to seriously ask ourselves some very real questions. If the Epstein files get released and show damning conclusive evidence of Crumb the 1st taking part in sex crimes and the GQP is in control of the House will they even approve an impeachment motion? Even if an impeachment motion were to make it out of a GQP or Dem controlled House will enough GQP Senators vote to convict that would give the needed 2/3 for conviction? If convicted and he refuses to go who and how would physically remove him?

So we could face the very real scenario where we have a President committing the most heinous crimes of murder, sexual abuse of minors, engaging in and supporting sex trafficking, using the office for engaging in extortion of nations and businesses for personal profit, engaging in theft/sale of classified documents, knowingly and purposely withholding food and medical care from children etc. and we may very well have enough GQP Senators that would keep such a person in office.
