...includes so called "renewable technologies" in the list of the drivers of environmental impacts of the semiconductor industry.

This calls into question whether "renewable technologies" are actually "renewable."

It is a fact that the trillions of dollars thrown at the solar industry has had no effect whatsoever on the accelerating collapse of the planetary atmosphere.
