You wrote that "today the threat is there will be no vote on [ the bill to end the shutdown ] it in the house without removing any abortion provisions in the ACA." That simply is untrue. And while folks cant disagree about the deal to end the shutdown, that doesn't give anyone leeway to make up their own facts.

And you are right, there were no food stamps today. Would there have been food stamps today without the deal? What about tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now? How much pain were you willing to inflict on the 42 million Americans who rely on SNAP? As much as the repubs?
