16. I have been crossing my Fingers

Every day since the escalator trip that this will be the one, this will end him.
Now my fingers are so crooked, playing guitar hurts. And my Hope has crashed and burned. How many cave in’s and let downs can a souls survive.
We let the selling of the country rot, spread into the bone marrow of our nation, and it has attached itself to every blood cell, even slipped through every cell membrane and is attacking every cell organelle until the nation rots from the inside out.
I wanna hope but damn, I am sick of losing. And I have been a 50+ year Cowboy fan. (Jumping off that damn ledge finally )
Maybe take my jinx of bringing lose to any team I support, And jump on the MAGA team, and crash it all down. Take one for the Good Americans, especially my Vet brothers and sisters,
Bleak fucking days behind us, here now and for any time ahead.
