I didnt watch the game, so I cant opine on whether or not the red card was deserved. Lets say it wasnt; you may well be correct.
But I was responding to the poster saying let the players sort it out themselves. Theres a reason that the card system was implemented many years ago, and its because a major principle of the beautiful game, fair play, was getting run over by the lack of effective discipline to address reckless play.
