He's not going to start talking about '28 with his Senate race in full swing. But he certainly knows that a strong showing in Noveber in GA (which he's on track for) is going to elevate him to the front. Doing things in between to make himself more well known nationally and with Democratic primary voters, like his questioning today, will be all he needs under next year.
Trump is going to do him a lot of favors if he starts talking about him and makes Ossoff the face of anti-Trump sentiment.
