because one guy said he didn't hear about the event till later and he was mistakenly included in the first group who actually were part of the attack.

That absolutely does NOT change the events of that day. The RW machine has been furiously trying to claim that minor change in wording to push the idea that the entire story fell apart.

IT DID NOT!
