General Discussion

I was bedridden for three years, and didn't have much to do so I built a computer, hooked it up to a 50" flat screen, dropped cable, and began studying what's really going on. People are really starting to wake up. Things are just not getting better for the average Joe. I started a facebook page and within three years I had over 40,000 followers. People turn to social media just to have a voice. It is interesting to read what they have to say. That large a sampling is a pretty fair gauge of how folks feel. I see a lot of despair, disgust, disengagement. And that is what the power brokers (basically, the lobbyists) want. They absolutely want voters to feel that they don't matter, and thus, don't vote. Lindsey Graham just said that if the Repubs don't deliver the tax cuts, the donors have said not to call anymore. The politicians are addicted to power and privilege and will try to satisfy the donors.
I just received a life-saving lung transplant in September. I am off the oxygen tanks, out of bed and walking and upbeat. I want the country to feel as optimistic as I feel. I do, however, agree with the Fuck Donald and all Trumpsters attitude, though. Yes, the voters wanted change. I get that. But after a year of embarrassment, dangerous tweet wars which could actually result in nuclear war, and the Trumpsters STILL support this maniac, they deserve what will befall them. Loss of jobs, health insurance, cleans air and water. Problem is, their stupidity is dragging us all down. So, yes. Fuck them.
