1. Thanks for posting this ! I think there's a good chance that Jones will be re-elected.

I know most polling doesn't show that, but the Uglicans are seeing less and less reason to get out and vote. Don the Con has told them not to trust voting by mail, and the reality of the pandemic is s l o w l y sinking in. Plus, Mr. Potatotown has some blots on his record -- an opportunist who jumps to the next high salary job, after promising he'll stick around *this* time. Enthusiasm may not be sufficient for Uglicans to brave a trip to the polls to vote for "that Auburn guy", and Bama boosters would have to swallow their bile to vote for him at all.

MSNBC has been showing ads attacking Jones for failing to support 45's border wall. They even have a damaging quote -- "I'm not going to spend border wall money just to spend border wall money" -- Oooooh, how damning ! And they're running them during the evening shows, when the audience is mostly liberal -- wasted money ! Keep it up, guys ! (I can't read who paid for the ads, but Club For Growth has run recent ads against Jones.) Then, the minute it was announced Steve Bannon had been arrested for running a scam associated with the wall, they put up a new ad centered around late-term abortions. Looks like they're falling back on redder meat.
