We sailed and drove. My husband brought the boat (with crew) and one of my best girlfriends and I drove down from Ensenada. So we have both the boat and the car, which is very cool. We are in La Paz right now.

In early February, we plan to take both across the sea to the mainland and start exploring that area.

I don't have any specific questions right now, but any insights you want to offer would be very welcome.

I am really liking it here. I have to figure out when and how I am going to renew my tourist card in April, but that's still a ways off.

Have you lived in Baja for any length of time? Have you taken the ferry to the mainland?
