Ideally I’d prefer it if you can give me a name, because I don’t know any better than anyone else who might need one due to their financial situation. If you don’t have someone in particular in mind, I can try to figure out who to give one to, but it is super helpful if you already know who you want to gift to.

There is a caveat to the membership-gifting, which is that the recipients should have more than 100 posts (unless the gifter knows them personally, in which case I’ll make an exception). The reason for this is that while under 100 posts, members are still being evaluated by MIRT and it can be a bit awkward if someone is gifted a Star Membership and then banned for trolling.

Other than that, yes you can gift to multiple members per $35 contribution.
