1. I think such registries are a good idea

But there also needs to be, IMO, plans and commitments made by nearby family, friends, neighbors, etc.

I realize that’s not always possible, but if I know I have a neighbor with a disability that will require them to have assistance during an evacuation, then I want them to know that if I evacuate, they’re coming with me, absent other concrete plans.
