I had never heard of a 'megafire'... so I looked up the big one we had in 2021 here in Tahoe (Caldor fire) it burned a total of 221,835 Acres. WOW I can't even wrap my head around it. Especially hard to see when you look at mountains...
looked it up, it's roughly the same land area as Ft worth TX!
