Not hard to figure out. They're complicit in trumps heinous crimes. They're afraid of being primaried, so they'll do anything to forestall the release of "the epstein files" which would anger their dear leader. There's a lot of evidence there including seized videos and pictures. trump will say or do anything to change the subject. I expect the government will shut down in september over this.
