Open carry provides the opportunity for the gun-obsessed to carry their sweet babies to the grocery store "as is their right", and no one will know until it's too late that that's the day they decide to listen to a different voice in their head for a change.

(I realize this wasn't an open carry situation, but I get sick of seeing these thanatophiles toting their death machines in public spaces as if that weren't totally flaming-ass crazy. Or they just like crazy.)
