When the filibuster Rule was changed by Harry Reid in 2013 because of the GOP blocks of Obama's nominees, the Rule was changed for a carve-out, leaving any SCOTUS nominees still requiring 60 votes. When the GOP took over the Senate in 2014, they ditched the carve-out in the Rules for any nominees (including SCOTUS). But at least Reid broke the logjam.

Democrats ARE FIGHTING and throwing wrenches into the GOP works. But we are still in a "minority position" thanks to all those "uncommitteds" and other disengaged idiots. But the GOP doesn't have too many aces left except the SCOTUS, that has been shielding 45.

When I post a lot of what Democrats ARE doing in LBN, many of the OPs get yawns.
