I want to see relegated to the trash bin of bad ideas when we can get back the government. I detested it when Bush pushed it through, and I didn't agree with the way he entangled the CIA and the FBI. Yeah, I know... they needed "better communications" but I think that could have been accomplished in better ways than simply creating another department on top of the hierarchy. I saw it (and still see it) as just one more federal police department. Customs and Immigration people were bad enough, but the expanded and over-used ICE is just an example of a private army for the president, IMO. Once they're done with immigration, they'll move on to capture us elderly, infirm, non-conforming christians, and Democrats. Under the guise of "protecting National Security" of course. I can swing my cane in a pretty good arc, come to think of it! (LOL)

We have a huge military, with Reserves and National Guard standing ready for recall when needed (or desired). Add to that all the different departments in the Federal government that have anything to do with law enforcement, add that to the local, county, and state police departments, and you can easily see how we've long since tipped the page towards fascism. He needs all those mad, aggressive, testosterone- and steroid-driven evil brutes to keep all of us old cat ladies in line!
