He can't deal with "bad news" so he fires the messenger-- which doesn't alter the facts of the message in the least. He thinks he knows absolutely everything better than the experts and he refuses to appoint competent, qualified, experienced, educated advisers who are capable of helping him. Oh, no. Instead he gets rid of the person who bears the news and information he doesn't like.
