. . . we could, once again, celebrate Lee's and Jackson's birthdays.

Robert E. Lee was born Jan 19, Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson Jan 21. For the longest time, we Southerners celebrated Jan 20 as "Lee-Jackson Day," complete with schools and government offices closing, speeches, parades, picnics . . .

That is, we did so until along came "MLK Day."

Don't give Trump any ideas or we will dump MLK and restore Lee-Jackson.
