1. One of my third great-grandmothers was born on the short-lived Mormon colony on Beaver island in Lake Michigan.

She left that religion and married my third great-grandfather. Probably due to not wanting to be in an arranged marriage and being forced to have a larger than normal amount of kids.

I tried reading the book of mormon one time and it was like reading frontier gibberish.
