Thune talking about "hostages" is rich coming from a party that systematically gutted healthcare, blocked Medicaid expansion, and fought to strip protections for preexisting conditions — all while handing billionaires massive tax cuts.
If anyone’s holding the American people hostage, it’s the folks who decided corporate profits matter more than insulin prices.
Restore the healthcare funding you gutted, then maybe we’ll talk about "compromise."
