1. More than protecting the building

I imagine they were not sent ONLY to protect the building. First and foremost, they can intimidate would-be protestors, and faiing that, they can pick up trash and what, wash windows, sweep floors. We certainly want to get value for our taxpayer dollar, right? Oh, with a shut down looming, they may not get any of our dollars for awhile.
