How did you come to know this about yourself?

One of my eyes sees blues and greens more brightly, and the ther reds and yellows more intensely, if I am out in bright sunlight. I noticed this when I was in elementary school while hanging upside down by my knees from a tree branch.

I don't remember which eye does which, and at 74, I'm not about to repeat the tree stunt to see if I can replicate the experience - .
