What the Elephant Party’s chieftains and donors forget is that hundreds of thousands (and I’m probably low-balling the figure by a factor of ten) are small business-folk operating on the Net, at flea markets, hobby shows, and out of back rooms. These tariffs have been devastating to their business and the lame-stream corporate news media have given the Republicans a pass for their complicity.

IMO, Democratic candidates ought to make this an issue when they run against Trumpers next year instead of letting it slide.
