that federal civil servants and elected officials have the same insurance providers and options as every other American. Insurance can be through the ACA, FEHB or be on their spouse's insurance, which, iirc, Obama did even after he was elected.

If you use FEHB, the govt picks up about 75% of the policy premium. FEHB offers many different plans from self only to family and from very basic to very comprehensive.

There isn't some Cadillac insurance specifically for congress or federal employees.
