7. The major symptom

of possible dementia for me is:

- Deterioration of coherency of speech
- A vocabulary that has become repetitive and simplistic (compare his vocabulary from interviews 10+ years ago).
- Stringing sentence fragments together, he seems unable to stay on a topic or complete a thought.
- Nonsense words, egregious mispronunciation of simple words.
- Frequent tangents/digressions from the topic at hand
- Inappropriate behavior (like miming oral sex with a microphone)
