Ash Wednesday (the beginning of Lent) falls on February 18th, 2026. So the Mardi Gras parades and festivities are held in the 4 or 5 days leading up to Ash Wednesday. It's a busy time in NOLA with lots of tourists, and it looks like ICE is getting ready to spoil it for everyone.
