4. There's something inherently evil about the people who rise to the top of the Republican Party.

I don't think it was always that way, but I've seen a callous disregard for the Constitution and the rule of law growing withing the party for decades.
It's now the theme of all their plans and actions.
Gain power at any cost. Use that power to elevate the rich, and depress the poor and middle class.
Use that power to shape the very fabric of American Society to reflect the views of part of that society, to the detriment of the rest of us.
And now they've reached that point where the very essence of what America stands for is being swept away to restore a king as ruler of America; something we rejected 250 years ago.

I don't think our current government will be happy with anything less than total capitulation of the masses. They're showing us what they will do with anyone who gets in their way, and almost daring us to cross the line so they can overtly engage in violent suppression of all who are not totally committed to their new view of America.
