Ever since Pam Bondi and the FBI announced that thered be no release of the Epstein files because they dont exist, the seeming cover-up has stayed at the top of the news cycle. So much so that Trump Streisanded himself by continuing to complain about it. The continuous onslaught of media attention eventually led him to post on his own social media platform that he had asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to release some of the files. Last Thursday he posted the following:
Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to Court approval.
Shortly thereafter, I had a chat with Kel McClanahan at National Security Counselors, wondering if both the President and the Attorney General say that urgent release is in the public interest, who are we to question that? So he filed the following expedited FOIA request on behalf of my podcast media company:
-snip-
The purpose of this FOIA is two-fold: first, we are asking for ALL the transcripts, not just the pertinent ones - putting it back on the government to determine whats pertinent and second, having to justify it to the court.
