but it was so long ago, I think I ought to grab a copy and re-read it. Other than the main highlights, I've forgotten most of it. Reading it now, with an eye to what's happened in our country and with the "wisdom" of my advanced age, I'm likely to find a greater depth to the story than when I read it as a teenager.
