My understanding, from following this over the years, is that there is more there is more than one "client" list.
There was the general address book that had names of contracters, clients, etc. There was a specific one for the plane. And then there were the guest books at his various homes.
Does that mean someone on any of those lists participated in the "activities"? Some most likely did, but i suspect most did not.
