There will soon (it’s already started) be a big push from the consultant class and punditry that claims that the only way Dems can win is to embrace the “Abundance Agenda”, a Third Way/No Labels rebranding of pro-corporate neoliberalism that eschews government regulations for everything from building codes to labor laws to environmental impact studies.

The Abundance Agenda is a Trojan Horse that presents itself as a tool to reduce bureaucracy and red tape and make government work for the people again, but in reality is a tool to accelerate and maximize corporate profits from government funds.

Be prepared to hear the Abundance Agenda presented as “the only way” Dems can rehabilitate their reputations with the voters.
