Of course I thought she'd lost it, but it turned out to be the trip of a lifetime, it was a very hopeful time there, under Gorbachev, who was instituting more progressive policies. But Reagan was not popular there since he was so tough on Gorbachev and Russia that the hardliners were pressuring Gorbachev to cut back on his progressive policies. And now the Republican party is inexplicably led by TFG who admires their current murderous dictator and hopes to follow in his footsteps.
