1. I've gone through various stages of feelings about GEN Milley

I hated when he and Esper were in the picture at the church when the Orange Turd held the Bible upside down. But Milley quickly realized he'd fucked up and apologized, which is something I've rarely seen from senior leaders. Normally their judgment is much better than that. But as I've thought about it over the past few years, I've realized that he, among all others, did more to save our country from what could have been than he'll ever get credit for. X45 assumed, and wrongly, that Milley would just order the military into line. Milley, like most of us who've worn the uniform, takes his oath seriously and knows that we are subordinate to the President, but our oath is not to him, but to the Constitution...the ideals it represents.
