The truth is that we don't know what Ukraine is going to do about Crimea, which is going to be a very tough nut to crack. Right now, they're attacking the high command while making the port itself unusable. Instead of invasion and liberation, they might be tryng to draw Russian forces there so they can be cut off from all support while leaving the other defensive lines starved for manpower as well as supplies. They're going to do what they're going to do and they've had to fight Russians for centuries. They know what they're doing more than any DC strategist does, no matter his class standing at West Point.
