Rain was written by John Lennon and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership. It was written by John Lennon and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership. Lennon described it as being "about people moaning about the weather all the time". Ringo Starr considers "Rain" his best recorded drum performance. This colorized version was released in June of 1966.
